Why MetaDesign

A true engineering partner.

We succeed when your internal team is fully empowered to maintain the systems we build.

No Licensing Traps

Unlike platforms that trap you in their proprietary ecosystem, we build your modernized app on open-source frameworks. You pay us for the labor, you own the result.

Exhaustive Documentation

A modernized system is only as good as its documentation. We provide Swagger API docs, Terraform infrastructure scripts, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

Knowledge Transfer

We don't just throw code over the wall. We conduct structured handover workshops with your internal engineering and IT operations teams.

FAQ

Asked first, every time.

Don't see yours here? Send us the question — a principal engineer will reply within 24 hours.
No problem. While you own the code, you can retain us on a Managed Services contract. We will handle hosting, maintenance, and future feature development for you.
Yes. By enforcing strict linting, modern design patterns, and comprehensive documentation, the codebase is designed to be easily onboarded by any competent software engineer.
No. We rely entirely on enterprise-grade, open-source libraries (e.g., React, Node, PostgreSQL). You will never have to pay a license fee to use the core technologies we implement.
We use Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation). We provide you with the scripts, meaning you can spin up or tear down identical environments in minutes.
