Question: What is the process to upgrade a license key?
Answer: Simple, make a successful purchase of an upgrade. Drop an email to us mentioning the previous license key you want to upgrade at Sales. After receiving your email, your record will get check, if everything found ok then it will be done and you will receive a confirmation email else if any problem found then you will be informed about the same.
Question: Do i have to take care of anything before upgrading my license key?
Answer: Yes, a simple step. Unregister your previous license key.
Question: I bought an upgrade but I forgot to Unregister my previous license key. Now, What should i do?
Answer: If possible, then you can do it now else if it is not at all possible from your end then it can be done from our end but with a minimal support charge of $10 USD per license key. Please contact us at Support mentioning the license key and the exact conditions.
Question: What if my system got crash and I did not get a chance to Unregister the product?
Answer: In such case, you will not be able to register your product elsewhere as it was not unregistered from the previous system. This will then require re-activation of the key which will have a minimal support charge of $10 USD per license key only.
Question: Why am I getting a Registration prompt each time i start InDesign, though I have registered it once successfully?
Answer: Possible causes for such issue can be many, for eg. Your firewall, antivirus setting or other security settings or so not allowing the product to send complete/proper information to its license server to register the product. Please contact us at Support along with the maximum details you can share related to the issue.
Question: What is the difference between Unregistration and Uninstallation of the product?
Answer: Uninstallation, will only remove the installed files from your system, but your product will remain registered with us and as a result you would not be allowed to register the product on any other system.
Unregistration, as it sounds will Unregister your product from the current system which allows you to register the product using the same license key on any new system.
If you have not Uninstalled that wont be a problem but always remember to Unregister the product.
Question: With which Operating Systems ADOView is compatible?
Answer: ADOView - QuickLook Plug-in is compatible with Mac OSX 10.5 and above. ADOView - Windows Preview Handler for InDesign & InCopy is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7. ADOView - Windows Preview Handler for QuarkXpress is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Question: Why have I not received the License Key yet, though I have already paid for it and my purchase was successful?
Answer: License key gets sent almost immediately after receiving the order or at max within 24 hours to the email address provided by you at the time of account creation. If you still do not receive it, then please first check your spam/junk folder as it is possible that because of the settings applied at your end it has gone there. It is also possible that because of the Firewall/Antivirus/Security settings applied at your end you were not allowed to receive it. We would suggest you to please check the settings for the same and make appropriate changes to receive emails from metadesignsolutions.com domain. Answer: In such case then it wont be possible to Register the product on another system. We suggest, if possible from your side then please Unregister it, then you can easily Register product on any new system.
We suggest, always remember to UNREGISTER your license key before formatting or selling your system, upgrading operating system or the product (InDesign or so) on which our plug-in is in use, moving the plug-in to another system etc. (the list is only indicative and not exhaustive) to avoid paying for support charges.
Question: How and when will I get the License Key for the product I have purchased?
Answer: The License Key will get sent to you to your email address which you have registered with us during account creation and though it is issued and sent immediately after receiving the order but still we suggest to wait for its receiving for atleast 24hours. If you still wont receive it, then please contact us at Support immediately.
Question: I need assistance/support urgently, but your Sales-Technical support working hour is over. Will I get any help?
Answer: We do care for our customers and because of this reason we do provide support even after our working hours, but not all the time. As neither MetaDesign Solutions nor our support executives are bound to provide support after working hours. So availability of support in non working hours is very uncertain. Question: Why do I have to pay for the support? I have purchased the product and expecting a free support with it.
Answer: We understand and respect your thought. Though support is free in almost every case, but still there are some cases in which we do charge for support.
